Welcome to The Langdon Hills Estate Residents Association's consultation in relation to the latest parking notice issued by Essex County Council concerning the estate. The original scheme that was supposed to be implemented in late 2012 was littered with issue that led to the Road Traffic Orders never being granted, despite the scheme lines being painted on the roads at the bottom of the estate (Puckleside to Westmede)

What is now proposed is a scheme that will make the majority of Valance Way from Westmede to just beyond the bend before Ryemead 'No Waiting at any time' apart from a few bays scatter along the road. The same would be implemented between Debden Green and Breamsfield on Valance Way. The roads from Puckleside to Westmede would be made Residents Permit Zone C between 10am - 2pm. This would be across the entire road and all lines would be removed apart from on the corner of the roads. So in essence you can park in the bays or along the side of the curb. For the first time it will also extend to the small car parks at the top of these roads.

We seek your views on this matter which we will present to Essex County Council. We would also encourage you to send individual comments and objections to ‘TRO Comments, Network Management, E3 County Hall, Chelmsford, Essex, CM1 1QH’ or e-mail to TrafficRegulation.Order@essex.gov.uk quoting reference TRAF/4110, by 7 March 2014.

Our survey will close on Friday 28th February.
